I'm asking the same questions! Remember we were convinced the Iraqis all hated Saddam Hussein and we would be greated as liberators and the Iraqis would fight for their freedom. Lie after lie after lie.
I will say that the people of Iran are NOT Islamic and they are not Arabs. I know lots of them here is Southern California, and I'd love that country to be free. I don't love that desire for them to be free enough for our boys to enter yet another Middle Eastern bloodbath that never ends.
Let's say we obliterate the Islamic regime. Then what? Who will keep the peace? Who will fight the Islamic death cult that will come and attack from all over the Middle East? I want to believe that Iran is central to the power of the Islamic world, and would have a positive ripple effect if that regime is destroyed. How can we be sure there is enough support, discipline, and unwavering commitment in Iran for this?
