For what it is worth, I do NOT think these are tears of joy. Not in the slightest.

These are tears of relief. This is the release of a lifetime of pain, of desperate suffering, of anger, rage and trauma.

For someone who has seen her people and country raped for decades, is it any surprise that there's a lot of built up anguish.
