Table salt is awful
But low sodium literally keeps my heart in check. I tend to have palpitations and if I keep my sodium in check they are pretty much non existant

Sounds like a magnesium/potassium problem not salt.
Also taking magnesium glycinate daily and a potassium rich diet. all pieces of the puzzle
