I'm hearing a rumor that Russia is claiming that 500 US troops have been killed in an attack on the US base in Bahrain. Anyone else hearing that, or is it propaganda?

It is possible, because it was a hotel. The troops were withdrawn from the base and housed in the hotel for some reason.
