I mean, seriously, how could anyone not see a 1980's-made-for-MTV-music-video and not just stop everything to watch the whole thing through?!

Whoever thought of the whole "let's cover the camera in foil and spin the singer in circles" technique was no doubt famous until he was hired and tried the same thing again.

At that point, he was told "that is so last year" and he was never hired again.

Some things never change.
