It's Durham which is heavilly blue area. it is too bad but the Dem will win regardless of who runs on the GOP ticket.
Also I was told tit is up to the parties to close the primary. The Republican party doesn't want to close the primaries bc they don't want to upset the unaffiliated voters (the biggest registration numbers above both parties) bc they tend to vote for the GOP.
