Intelligence agencies using psyop can burrow into this and take advantage of the state of the individual, feeding the frenzy, and pushing them over the edge. The goal is to target and fracture powerful influencers that were becoming legitimate threats to them.
I believe this could be what we're seeing. I remember Ms. Owens testifying in a Congressional hearing and eviscerating politicians in her replies - she is intelligent, eloquent and decisive, and posed a threat. From that day forward she is a target. Over time we are here, and she has perhaps taken a side road. The hope is she will come back.
From a spiritual standpoint - and this goes for all who voice publicly, and influence others - one is responsible for that influence, and what it brings to the audience, their thinking, and even their lives. Every word. I would caution her and others to always reflect and be sure.

It's quite possible her grief and tenacity are being weaponized to disseminate false information in an attempt to destabilize Trump's base. It wasn't long ago that she insinuated Trump was involved in Charlie's assassination.
