This old meme sparked a change and made the cultural divide more clear to me, its not "red vs blue" or "left vs right"; its nationalism vs internationalism. Today we call it "globalism", it used to be called "bolshevism", and for the time in between it was called "communism"; but they are all ultimately the same anti-nationalism.
To me nationalism is simply putting your people and your nation first. Nationalism is prioritizing your own nation over others. Why is that so opposed?
