I suspect the fate of UK is closely tied to the US blocking Carney's handoff of Canada to CCP (with British Columbia finally becoming US territory after a 165 year delay).
I strongly suspect UK/Commonwealth to be restructured as a Federation (Republic-type) with some states choosing to join United States after they are freed. United Kingdom -> United Federation (or similar).
