The point is that RIGHT NOW, based on our CURRENT US CONSTITUTION and CURRENT LAWS in the REALITY that we live in, removing people or blocking people based on their religion, A RELIGION THAT THE CURRENT SUPREME COURT AND ALL THE ONES BEFORE IT RECOGNIZES AS A LEGITIMATE AND PROTECTED RELIGION, is blatantly violating the First Amendment rights of those people.
Arguing that Islam isn't a religion isn't changing the facts of how things are NOW. Theorizing on ways that Islam could be removed as a legitimate religion sometime in the vague future doesn't change the facts of how things are NOW.
And blatantly calling for violating the Constitutional rights of others is 100% going to be used against us when liberals start up with gun control rights again. Which they will. And then we can't pretend that we honor the US Constitution when we've just shown that we have no problem hacking out pieces of it we don't like.
And there is ZERO chance that this is going to do anything in the near future. There would be all types of legal challenges that would likely take years to resolve one way or another.
