I post here from time to time with prayer requests and updates on the work I have been doing to fight government corruption in the State of California, so I wanted to share that all the prayers are working! Yes, it was a small victory, but the little victories add up and gain momentum. Each victory is an affirmation that God wins in the end.
California's income tax agency has been paying NGOs to help illegal aliens get tax identification numbers and file tax returns. Their San Diego NGO has had many allegations of staff sexually assaulting the clients over the last year and a half. The San Diego NGO was scheduled to host a "tacos and taxes" event this Saturday, March 14.
I was able to get a small but mainstream local publication to run an editorial about the event being run by an alleged sex predator: https://www.eastcountymagazine.org/reader’s-editorial-nonprofit-continues-aiding-families-despite-allegations-sexual-abuse-staff
The event was canceled by the end of the day. :)
Thank you all for your prayers and support and advice, and especially all your words of encouragement, over the years. You have no idea how much you all have helped me.
1:10 PST Update: I didn’t do as well as I thought I did. I just called 211. The tacos and taxes event isn’t exactly canceled. They kept all the appointments previously made but aren’t adding more appointments (but that could be because they were already full). The senator is not attending the event. Press is prohibited. So it's still happening. They are just being sneaky. 😔
Even though the event is canceled, will you share the article with fellow San Deigns so that people are aware about Dreams for Change being a sex predator? Another thing that I have been peripherally working on is getting the City to defund them. While Dreams for Change does get some money from the Franchise Tax Board, the bulk of their funding comes from the City of San Diego.
