sometimes I kinda don't get how they evade surveillance and getting exposed, because they are also being watched

like for example if they do a bunch of shell corporations and shuffle money around, there's still like a paper trail that could expose them, right?

I guess sometimes they do get caught up in webs of this monitoring with things like epstein files
