If the US pulls out, the Europeans will just revert back to fighting each other like they have for centuries. There have always been wars in Europe throughout history.
The US had to intervene in two very costly wars on the European continent because of their squabbles. The US has been present there since WW2 to basically keep a lid on the place to keep it from eating itself. However, most of the Europeans have allowed their militaries to degrade to such an extent that I don't think they could fight each other if they wanted to. They can only hurl strongly worded statements at each other. I could be wrong, but the only two countries that have the capacity to field respectable forces are Poland and Turkey. The rest, not so much.
Next time you little European brats need help...we'll remember this.

Because they were led astray. And all are still paying for it to this day. Banker Wars are like that. Or I should say were like that.
