Some estimate that he USSR lost around 8.7 million. The United Kingdom lost approximately 383,700 military personnel during World War II and has lost more afterwards.

Most of the deaths mentioned in the tweet happened before NATO was founded.

Facts can be checked and we owe it to the others here to try and get them right.
