It is 100% manipulated within the USA by government and "historians". I was taught mostly correct in my early school years in the 1970's and 1980's, but I later learned from my self-study of the Constitution, the establishment of our Republic, that true history can really only be found by those willing to put in the work, the time, and be ready to accept that what they thought they knew simply wasn't true.
