I went to the Rodeo carnival this last weekend and was disgusted by the way so many people were dressed. Half naked women everywhere. So happy to see that the Rodeo Committee is doing something about this!!
“Country” has been going this route for a long while now. The music videos are soft porn. Half the songs are about undressing her, getting “done”, having sex. I stopped listening to country music years ago, can’t imagine it’s gotten any better. The committee was right to do something. But enforcement will be the key, as always.
We only listen to pre 2005-2007 country music.
I just listen to contemporary Christian music nowadays. With an occasional 80-90’s rock. Kinda 90/10 ratio.
"Country music " at least mainstream, is a manufactured form of garbage. It's mostly pop music with a "twang" in the vocals anymore. Real country music ended in the early '80's. On the rare occasions that I'm exposed to the stuff, I'm repulsed.
Unfortunately not just the ladies. The day we went there were a few guys wearing cropped shorts with butt cheeks hanging out. I'm sure if they bent over, thats not all you would have seen. It was really kind of shocking.

I attended the concert the night they shut down the carnival. People at Kelly Clarkson concert were not the problem. People outside were. Use to be family oriented but now it’s disgusting. Was scared just trying to leave grounds. Really not just about dress but also behavior. Thats my last rodeo. Sad.
