No. The Sabbath is a commandments but we break all of the other commandments regularly as well.
The Pharisees in an effort to keep the people as far away as possible from breaking the laws, put gezerah, or in other words fences up. These fences became extremely burdensome to the Jews and they were not God's laws. The Pharisees hearts were in the right place, their methods however were ineffective.
Sabbath is in the simplest terms a celebration of restoration. God is working always to make things new. He has been doing it since the beginning. God did not need to rest on the 7th day. He is God and does not get tired. He rested because He saw that all of His work was good. We should take time each week, whatever day of the week works for you and your family, put the works of our own hands, the anxieties we feel about our work or what needs to get done, and own aspirations aside to instead focus on celebrating God and His restorative work. The Sabbath is a celebration of restoration.
