Exactly. The financial burden falls on the backs of homeowners. Renters don't worry about that shit. I had a very different mindset about how my city spent money when I was only in an apartment; I didn't care or pay attention. Now as a homeowner I get so steamed at the constant waste of taxpayer $$ with their stupid pet projects and liberal bullshit. They love spending other people's money, and meanwhile my property taxes keep going up and are sky high. So fucking sick of it.
