If you watched star trek, the "aliens" prosthetics ended just behind the ears. Or around the neck.

Hollywood has come a long way in making prosthetics. Incan duplicate anybody with them

I did watch Star Trek-loved the original series but I did not pay attention to their ears. 😂 Thanks for explaining.
