That is the side of the coin most folks would not get to see. Im glad you brought it up, yet I fear some folks will simply say you are a Debbie downer for going against the grain. "What a wonderful thing to happen to ALS patients" will be the new mantra while at the same time silently programming us to accept that all computer interfaces are benign. On a side note I wonder how much this operation would cost for an average patient, one that is not a lab rat for science.
