Even the CD-ROM golf game that came with my Win95 dial up was painfully slow, could nap between shots as it loaded

When we used to load games on ZX Spectrum via a cassette tape, we used to take a good nap while the game was getting loaded. Half the time load fails and we had to rewind and go back to nap.
