Clearing mines (done 02MAR), providing maritime insurance (done 03MAR), taking out IRGC boats/weapons (likely done 06MAR), and taking out anti-ship missiles (likely done 09MAR), and then leaving 2/3 of US Navy there while blaming Iran for "closing the Strait" from 09MAR-present is quite hilarious.
The US Navy likely has seizure warrants for 20-50 EU tanker ships for violating sanctions (laundering Venezuela & Iran oil). So they have to be individually vetted. One reason for throttling traffic by USN.
