Luke 19:37 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:
38 โBlessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!โ[b]
โPeace in heaven and glory in the highest!โ
39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, โTeacher, rebuke your disciples!โ
40 โI tell you,โ he replied, โif they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.โ
41 As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it 42 and said, โIf you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peaceโbut now it is hidden from your eyes. 43 The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. 44 They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of Godโs coming to you.โ
2 Corinthians 3:12-17.
12 Since we have such a hope, we are very bold, 13 not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face so that the Israelites might not gaze at the outcome of what was being brought to an end. 14 But their minds were hardened. For to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away. 15 Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their hearts. 16 But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
The end of verse 44 should read "not the time of your visitation" not what you have typed. Which teanslation are you using because the septuagent does not say that? Bad translation.
