I agree that a full on invasion with no clear goals set would be disastrous for our country and our military, and it would alienate The People from The Cause wuicker than almost anything else short of Trump going full on tyrant on us. Especially with the current crop of Federal Legislators we have who would love nothing more than to insert themselves into the equation to hinder the military with outrageously insane RoEs and ops restrictions.

However, targeted ops designed to decapitate or neutralize the various regional IRGC commanders or their infrastructure and manufacturing/supply network using the small unit quick strike tactics and/or capture/kill missions we perfected in OEF/OIF would be a highly effective short term method to further influence Iranian Govt capitulation here.

Not to mention, we've taken away their ability to fund themselves by forcing the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, as well as inbound flights from their allies. The current IRGC leadership has themselves said that they probably only have about 6 mths of resistance capabilities if we do invade. Since they lie about everything, and none of the national level commanders are still alive, that estimation is most likely less than 4 mths, if that.

And just because we have Carrier Battle Groups, a MEU, and now elements of the 82nd Airborne along with elements of JSOC in the M.E., that doesn't mean we're doing anything more than the age old Middle Eastern tradition called Saber Rattling. It's one of the things these backward assed, Sharia minded, inbred goat fuckers respond to the best.

IRGC Naval, Air Force, missile and drone capabilities are near non existent at this point. They quit targeting our ships for the most part because we've effectively demonstrated our ship-borne capabilities to defeat them using modern technology. We've bombed their Naval and Ai Force assets and are now flying low and slow with AH-64s, Cobra gunships, and A-10s at will throughout the whole region. Something we wouldn't be able to do with an effective IRGC.

We also now have China and Pakistan, two of Iran's most trusted allies, using back channel processes signaling the current Iranian leadership's willingness to capitulate to any and all of Trump's demands.

Besides that, picking JP Sears to talk about all of this really isn't an effective way at analyzing this to begin with. He's a fucking comedian who made his name spotlighting the idiocy of the left/uniparty and their use of fear monger tactics in the media and academia. This latest AJ episode is just more of the same.
