That’s so cool! Ours is a ‘72, with a ragtop. I know they didn’t make ‘72’s with ragtops, but the first or second owner decided to make it a ragtop. Husband is having a heck of a time with putting on the new ragtop because it’s not the same size as other ragtops, so we had to get it specially made. You know how it is, everything doesn’t go back together like it was taken off 🙄 One step forward and 5 back, lol. We would have loved getting an older bug, but this is what we found at the time. We were hoping to do some shows this year but it’s taken us a while to find the right people to help with the engine, paint and upholstery. Right now we are just trying to get everything put back together.
