You also have to consider that some countries get their oil from us. I remember hearing somewhere that we were exporting oil to a lot of places and we didn't keep enough of it for our own use. We had to import some (even outside of Canada) to keep up with our own demand. We were importing the crap oil from Venezuela as an example. Note - this doesn't include Commiefornia since they import oil from outside of the US rather than using ours. (where's the X retard finder when you need it?)
I assume we are still doing that, since the other day a news story talked about 3 tankers of diesel that left the US for Europe stopped in the middle of the Atlantic and changed courses to other countries. (kek)
When we have to buy from the open market to subsidize our own stupidity and shortfalls, we too will feel the price increases. Not as much as other countries, but there are price hikes.
