This site is for us to share our research with others. "Always verify" makes sense as a precaution, but "Do your own research" just sounds lazy and really isn't helpful.
Not everyone can "monitor the situation" to the degree of rigor that thorough research requires. Many are still waging a daily war of just trying to survive among crippling debt and overwhelming inflation. Some use GAW simply to help filter out the excess noise on X (since most posts here are just reposts of stuff from X anyway).
Please be mindful that many are not as blessed with their free time as you might be.
Good OP and I feel ya, but in my experience, some people just cannot accept things they do not discover for themselves.
This is exactly why the awakening has been at least a decade in the making. Between the notion you espoused and breaking the social engineering NPC scriptz, it's a monumental task and no small feat by the forces of good.
The awakened surely must endure the pain of time and theatrics until (x)% of the public convinces themselves they've figured it all out!

I often quote Jesus, verse 28 from The Gospel of Thomas (above) *speaking to His apostles about how some people he ministered to were already so full of what they THOUGHT was the truth, they did not WANT to hear anything else.
It perfectly illustrates why normies (and others) do not WANT to SEEK the truth because they think they already know the truth.
I had to have the realization of how very little I actually knew in order to break free from that mind trap.
