The minute a Company comes out with a viable alternative as comparatively easy to use as Windows. Microsoft is probably deader than disco.
At the moment their only saving grace is Linux can be a bigger pain in the ass than Windows for the average user. And Apple is super pricey.
But there are Companies like Valve working on competing OS. That are supposed to be fairly compatible with many products traditionally designed for Windows.
Yeah. I’ve thought about it as well. Kinda holding out hope SteamOS or something releases and gives me an excuse not to learn. Otherwise it’s just another thing to add to the list I need to work through
