We're always told how difficult and demanding medical school is, yet it's turning out a fair amount of nincompoops. Makes me wonder if it's as difficult as they say.

IIRC, the biggest prerequisite was a high bachelor's GPA. If you didn't have that, nothing else mattered. I'm not sure that's working well as a filter anymore, if it ever did. Seems that leans toward regurgitation rather than intelligence.
