You want responsibility in a tech department, you have to understand logic and math; unless you are just a DEI hire in the overhead departments.

Hire more wymn? I was there in the 1970s. They did hire women who "knew how to code." I was one of them. I got respect in every position from beginning programmer to project manager, often supervising only men.
