Probably a big reason why, unlike others in Europe, the UK refused to designate the IRGC as a terrorist organization. That would be a wee bit sticky. The UK's ties to Iran, especially the IRGC, go back a long time. They ousted the Shah because he didn't want to play ball with them anymore.
