Candace Owens has repeatedly asserted that a 30-06 could not have been used to kill Charlie Kirk, and many of the Candies here have obediently repeated this same line on this board as well. Well, thankfully we can put it all behind us.
The defence motion, filed in January 9th and recently unsealed asking for various reliefs from the judge, also included the exhibits that confirmed that the bullet that killed Charlie Kirk was indeed a .30-caliber bullet.
For those ready to pounce on me saying "Candace never says anything, she just asks questions", please save your breath.
And to be clear, that means that yes, the surgeon explicitly lied to Andrew Kolvet if he indeed told him that it was a modern day miracle and Charlie’s neck stopped a 30-06.
There was no 30-06 or high powered rifle involved in this at all.
So who was the surgeon?
They absolutely know what kind of weapon was used and they absolutely know it was not a rifle.

You ignored this whole statement in the report: The report states that the "bullet jacket fragment could not be identified or excluded as having been fired from the Exhibit 1 rifle based on an agreement of all discernible class characteristics and neither sufficient agreement nor sufficient disagreement of individual characteristics. The result of the comparison was inconclusive." The lead fragments, the report states, "are not suitable for microscopic comparison."
There is no relation to rifle, and no evidence was found that the rifle was even fired or that residue test would have been included in the evidence.

This is a post examining the widely spread conspiracy theory that any 30-06 rifle could not have been used in the assassination.
From the report: ".30-caliber class deformed/damaged bullet jacket". now google a 30-06 bullet image and a 30 caliber bullet image and you will see they are VASTLY different in size, strength length, width. Per the report is wasn't a 30-06, it was a .30 caliber which includes lots of rifles and maybe an odd handgun. the 30-30 rifle is one 30 cal most known by non gun people because they are in westerns all the time. So the jacket does not match the gun found, and the actual fragments from Charlie are not 30-06 but 30 caliber. I don't care about Candace or whoever is not an expert but has a mic. Just facts. The gun is not related and the caliber is not related. Also facts, the surgeon clarified that he never broke HIPA regulations and talked about the bullet being magical in any sense. That was Andrew or Erica or someone else in the conversation that would have brought that up. It is a nonsense statement for a professional surgeon to make.

You did basic, I simply looked at the bullets. Not the same. So fragments may be a .30 to .33 in diameter, but, AND MY POINT STILL IS that it is not limited to 30-06 but all 30 cal are possible. IF the logic still eludes, take a class.
Do you have a link to read the ATF report? I read several articles about the unsealed report and they stated the report concluded the spent cartridge case had been fired from his rifle. Here’s the statement from one article:
“The rifle was a Mauser model 90, 30-06 Springfield caliber rifle with the serial number 8863 and an optical accessory. The cartridge case and cartridges matched the rifle’s caliber, and the cartridge case was identified as having been fired from the rifle.”
