You have to change your citizenship status, legal standing, and escape their jurisdiction before telling the IRS to f-off, but it is easy to do unless you're scared of being free...and a lot of people can't handle freedom and responsibility so here we are.
I know someone who changed her citizenship status, a short time after the local police came for her guns. Just saying. I think she doesn't pay taxes though. Make sure you know what you are getting into & doing
