Patrick Muldoon, 'Days of Our Lives' and 'Melrose Place' actor, dies at 57

Muldoon made appearances on "Who's the Boss?" and "Saved by the Bell” before being cast on “Days of Our Lives” in 1992, where he portrayed Austin Reed in nearly 500 episodes.

Apparently he was doing just fine, was healthy, working as an executive producer on an upcoming movie, but died suddenly and unexpectedly in his home.
