As long as the blockade continues, Iran has limited time to respond. Their oil wells have to keep pumping and they are likely running out of storage. If they stop, they could lose those wells altogether. Trump has em by the balls.
Not just them, btw. China urgently needs that cheap oil and they’re not getting it so the economic collapse of China is imminent. Imagine Xi on the phone to whoever he can reach in Iran right now. Of course it’s complicated by the remaining IRGC leaders abject terror of their own population, they can only buy time by continuing obstinance.
