The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has about 125,000 active personnel plus an additional 66,000–90,000 in the Basij paramilitary force. The Basij is a volunteer militia commanded by and receives its orders directly from the IRGC. They are a force for internal security, including suppressing protests, enforcing morality laws, and were the regime's "iron fist" to quell domestic dissent and maintain loyalty to the Islamic Republic.
The regular Iranian Army has about 40,000 armed ground forces, and maybe up to 200,000 personnel total ground, navy & air force.
The question is who is loyal to the government 🤔. The Army isn't friendly with the IRGC, but may not be loyal to the corrupt Iranian government either. The army also is under-funded and not well equipped.

The infighting might be interesting.
B-52's loading up?
This "military action" is harder to keep up with than a Marx Brothers movie.
