So I woke up thinking about the many folks expecting a major currency/stock market crash and/or oil price spike, supply interruptions etc. Along with that, insider knowledge seemingly being used to get ahead of market moves and profit. There have been reports of people placing insane (very large) bets that went their way due to subsequent moves by Trump.
Got me thinking. Maybe this is bait. Those folks doing this might get a nice run of wins, but what happens when they go all-in for "the big one" except it doesn't happen. Except the news is the opposite.
Like in trading places. The orange harvest is unaffected but the insiders think it's ruined. BOOM. They all lose everything and they cannot trade out of their positions because all the pension funds they hoped to liquidate (your wealth) actually rise because the news is a giant rug-pull?
Stay frosty on the market folks.
I learned a very long time ago chess is not my forte. Many of us here have prepared for so many scenarios that I feel comfortable in that whatever happens, we're survivors! I told some people the other day that when you are at the top financially and you lose everything, you have a long way to fall, and this creates a great deal of pain because loss is not something you've experienced and you have no idea how to deal with it. When you're at the bottom, and you fall, the grounds are a lot closer and you've been there before so it's easier to get up and carry on. The one thing I've learned through this time in life is that nothing is as it seems.
Blessings 🙏
