That's why it pays to 1) buy as much of your stuff from an independent private citizen as possible, thus bypassing the "requirement" of a registered firearm business having to report your purchase, 2) pay in cash, yet another bypass of the reporting requirement, 3) learn how to produce your own ammo, 4) refuse entry into your domincile or vehicle without a warrant, no matter how long the LEOs claim it will take to get a judge's permission, and probably most importantly, tell ABSOLUTLEY NO ONE what you you do have. If anyone asks, "it's none of their business."
They can legally "detain" you and keep you there while they try to get a judge to approve the warrant, but without one, they can't search your property. They'll go as far as trying to talk you into sitting in the back of a squad car while you wait. They'll try to brow beat you into submission using fear tactics. They'll try pitching fits and use strong arm tactics. They'll even try to use a "sensible" approach by appealing to your sense of duty as a citizen. But they ABSOLUTLEY CANNOT arrest you or conduct an illegal or improper search and seizure of your property without a court order.
