The part I find more interesting than her, which is a very obvious piece of what’s being done there, is Gutfeld himself.

Greg isn’t positioned to be the center of attention, though he clearly is. He’s positioned to be the guy on the edge who steps in and lands body blow haymakers on someone who’s clearly retardedly wrong, who steps in once someone is clearly so stupid they need to be KO’ed.
Maybe this isn’t the case, but it seems like he’s designed to drive increased engagement from people who’ve always been quiet.
