Until one day it was I MYSELF who realized something I didn't know I didn't know.
I can confidently say that I'm much closer to The Most High now (without a preacher/pastor/priest intermediary) than I've ever been before.
The OT was translated into Greek in 270BC. There are still copies of the Septuagint so we know the OT is the original. The NT is in compete harmony with the OT. I remember in Genesis Satan convinced Eve not to believe God's word. Believe what you want, I will stick with Holy Bible.
To be clear, I'm not saying "believe what I believe."
I'm saying "Stay frosty and be open-minded to whatever may come as the great awakening unfolds."
Ultimately, however it plays out is the will of God, no?
The Septuagint, which you yourself just cited as an authority, includes several Apocrypha books; Tobit, Judith, 1 & 2 Maccabees, Wisdom of Solomon, Sirach (Ecclesiasticus), Baruch (including the Letter of Jeremiah), and expansions (aha! Dirty word) to Esther and Daniel.

The Septuagint is different from our Holy Bible because it includes books that are NOT in the original Bible. Only the books of the original Hebrew Bible were included in our Bible. I use the Septuagint as a reference to how old the original was translated.
The verses that were missed in translation are well know and any study bible will give the Hebrew and Greek actual meaning. NONE of the verses that were mistranslated change any doctrines or basic teachings of the Bible. We have a promise from God Himself the He is WATCHING over His word to make sure ALL things are fulfilled.
The thing about the Bible and how unique it is, no one doctrine or teaching is just on a single page or in just one book. The information is spread across the entire Bible. There was no complete New Testament from the 1st Century Church BUT there were thousands of pages of manuscripts that survives the Roman campaign to stamp out the religion. These were taken and used under strict criteria to make the NT books.
Books that were not included like the Book of Mary or Book of Thomas were called the Gnostic gospels. They were NOT taught in all the churches but were mainly taught in Alexandria, They were offering different ideas about God, salvation and Jesus, himself is why they were rejected.
If I thought for one second that the Holy Bible was not complete and God inspired every word, I would not believe any of it.
