It definitely could be. I'm no bird expert. I just used my birdsong app to detect it and went with what it told me.

It's a Northern Mockingbird. Gray Catbirds are more shy preferring dense cover. and Northern Mockingbirds are much bolder, more vocal and have a tendency to use lawns and gardens as their predominant habitat.
