Yeah...but it really boils down to how much you want/need it...How much you want to torture yourself & how much time/energy/ever dwindling life force you want to spend getting a damned gadget to work...AND for a limited time at that...

Keeping some legacy systems going is absolutely twisted and obscure - and often both complicated AND delicate/frail...It's all such bullshit...

I've got XP machines still running...not emulated...and they just run! and they have a working serial & parallel port...
