Omar has refused tp turn over the documents the fraud committee has been asking for. Because they need a two thirds vote for a subpoena, it failed. All of the republicans voted yes. So, no democrats want to get to the bottom of the fraud. One of the most frustrating things about all of it is the press ignoring stuff like this. I have lots of family in the Twin Cities area. All Democrats. I'm sure they have not see anything on the news or in their papers. I so bad want to call of them. I don't because I have lived so far away from all of them and don't wish to have them yell at me or hang up on me. I know it's cowardly, but I love them.
I feel badly for you - I really thought the media would have been brought to heel by Trump 2.0 immediately, but it seems like they're still rogue. My local news people are so woke and don't report important gov't matters, unless they're advertising or advocating for the MAGA opposition platforms! Very frustrating.

The Feds had to let the State of Minnesota complete their investigation of the fraud first. The State just completed with failure to order a subpoena, and the fraudster (Omar) refusing to provide evidence.
Now the Federal DOJ and FBI can step in and investigate / prosecute. They will issue a subpoena that she can't refuse.

Actually, the Republicans on the committee seem pretty good. It's the 2/3 vote needed that got us. The chair of the committee does not vote, but she is a solid Republican
