I doubt in the short term our reserves will be depleted, but over the next 50-100 years we'd better figure out how to dig up new oil fields or lessen our dependence on oil to move our cars.
Or just go back to our old oil fields and start pumping them again. Itโs called fossil fuel for nothing because it is technically renewable in that old fields come back. We donโt know exactly how itโs created and just maybe itโs 100% renewable and not related to fossils.
What about our refining capacity? I live in a small rural town that has a Phillips refinery. It is one of refineries that has a coker unit. I'm not sure what the output is.
