I don't see how this is a 'problem' - it almost sounds as if you're saying actually, "its better to take the path of destroying, because its easier...."

But perhaps you think that "the way to make things great is to create, rather than destroy" implies no accountability? But that's not inherent at all. 'Taking out' people who pursue destruction is valid, BUT the problem is, as we can see historically, this mentality can easily slip into vengeance or righteous terror.
There is a big difference between overcoming those who seek your destruction and pursuing destruction yourself.
Motive is the key here, and there also lies the difference between actual accountability and justice on one hand, and destructive pursuit of vengeance and death on the other.
