The guy is right about Trump's strong hand, and probably about the "deal that Xi can't refuse," but I'm not convinced that he knows the deal Trump will get. Time will tell.

For China to sign trade deals as a sovereign nation, based on whats best for their country, rather than their masters. This is pretty much all Trump is doing. That means taking down import barriers and opening their markets, at the most basic level. On the other side, playing by the same rules as other countries (this might take longer).
weaning them off the roots that created and controlled the CCP.
