Be careful with amla. I started taking it for hair growth/thickening (I've always had baby fine hair and, with menopause, it got even finer), but didn't really bother reading much about side effects first (dumb mistake). After two days on it, I got dizzy and was stumbling. The third day, I dropped over.
Investigated it and found amla lowers your blood sugar. As someone with chronically low blood sugar, it was too dangerous for me to take. Just be careful with it!
Thanks for the warning. I am making my own now. Not dealing with anything like that, but I don't make mistake like that also. I do have low blood pressure.
Ask me if you need to. I also know another anon here with intensive knowledge.

Do you have a favored form of the C? ascorbates? natural from fruits: camu camu or amla?
