I read to start with 1/16th teaspoon, but I just put a "pinch" in my liter water bottle for about a week. Then 2 the next week until I'd just pour a little in. Too much it would taste a little soap like. After a month I realized my knees didn't hurt anymore and haven't since unless I get dehydrated for a couple days. It's supposed to help boost testosterone as well.
