Does a lopsided trade deal with China keep the DS in power here? What if the CCP isn't actually in charge of China? If they disobey the cabal, other countries stop buying from them and their economy collapses. If that's the case, another lever of [their] power just got removed.

There's LOTS of moving parts... and the proverbial knee bone attaches to the leg bone... City of London has been absolutely getting its ass kicked this past month... Same with Iran & there are implications with China in both cases.
