FTA (excerpted from Adams's and Jefferson's letter to SecForAffairs John Jay):
"That he verily believed the Devil assisted his Country-men, for they were almost allway’s successfull."
"the Devil"
Aka, Satan, or, in Islamic lore, Shai'tan. Aka, the Enemy.
This, right here, from one of the highest ranking Muslims of that age, is all you need to know that Islam is Satan's plan to conquer the world.
This letter, and the American-Algerian War of 1785-95, and the limited engagement Barbary Wars that came after is why I believe one of the biggest disservices our Founding Fathers committed toward the future of America was to NOT outlaw and ban Islam from our shores and American interests overall. Jefferson himself studied the Qu'ran, Hadiths, and Sirahs in order to better understand this enemy in order to find ways to defeat them. This is one of the things modern Islamists will argue as to why they believe the U.S. is actually already an Islamic Nation. They argue that Jefferson was really a Musselman and that since he was POTUS, that America was effectively conquered and converted at that time, and that America has been an apostatic State ever since and deserves to be punished for it. If you don't believe me, do some research or have a chat with an Imam. They'll tell you.
For all the bravery the Founding Fathers showed in taking on the world's strongest Empire at the time and fighting for American Independence, twice, they showed a lot of cowardice and ineptitude when it came to other issues such as the Islam Question, slavery, etc. The fact that they chose to leave it to future generations to solve this particular issue, when the truth was staring them straight in the face and daring them to challenge Islam directly shows the same amount of cowardice, if not more, than the Peanut Farmer showed in 1979-1980.
The fact they even recognized Islam as an Abrahamic Religion and not a "religiously" false yet actively politically despotic and evil autocracy/theocracy in order to effectively and permanently ban and outlaw it from our homeland and territories is, in my opinion, the single largest blunder they committed in the fledgling years.
The continued refusal to recognize Islam as an existential threat and permanent enemy of the U.S. is the same cowardly blunder that every successive POTUS, Congress, and Senate has committed since 1785, including the current Admin and Legislative Branch. The fact we're even officially recognizing Islamic Terror Orgs as viable governments and continue to fund them is proof.
One simply CANNOT argue with Islam. One simply CANNOT* negotiate with Islam. And one simply CANNOT recognize Islam as 1) an Abrahamic Religion, 2) a viable political entity worth negotiating and dealing with, and 3) a viable way of living life on this planet.
The author of that article is being nice when only limiting Islam's differences with the American Republic to a handful of cherry-picked Amendments.
Islam isn't just anti-thetical to THE WHOLE U.S. CONSTITUTION AND U.S. CODE. Islam is anti-thetical to humanity itself.
Islam deserves to be completely, totally, and permanently wiped off the planet for all time. Point blank, end of discussion.
